Trustee Integrity: Mandatory

If we expect integrity and honesty from our students ... shouldn't we also expect integrity (and honesty) from our elected  School Board Trustees? For instance, if a Trustee reports (in print) that they possess a teaching credential ... shouldn't they actually have evidence of one? Would we accept this type of behavior from a CUSD student? Can a student turn in an assignment that is not their own? There are strict rules against plagiarism and misrepresentation (check the Handbook and the board bylaws). Integrity matters; for both our students and our elected Trustees.

Trustee Reusche has never publicly apologized for misrepresenting her professional credentials or for misleading the public (or her constituents) during the 2012 election, and in the local media thereafter.

When asked by Calaveras Enterprise reporter Stephen Crane, Trustee Reusche stated:

“All my course work and what is required by the state of California was completed,” Reusche said, acknowledging she does not have a credential.”
